Wednesday, March 30, 2005

Wednesday's show included an interview with author Geraldine Hughes. Ms. Hughes wrote 'Redemption...' a book about the 1993 Michael Jackson trial. Interesting show, which also included Glenn's impression of older African Americans, who never seem to age. That and more on today's show!

Northern NY. Once again several people brought up today's Times article about Graham, but Glenn stuck with other non-important issues. Samantha called twice today, something that even surprised Glenn. It seems Smantha is afraid of planes crashing into her building and she said State St. is too crowded. Anyway, another entertaining show about virtually noting at all. Enjoy!

Strange Monday show, Glenn must have been on a differnet blend of coffee today. Listen and you'll see why. No Tina Chivo talk today, instead it was a combination of NCAA basketball, Jesus and his family and why Destiny New York would give Syracuse a big boost. Good show!

Good show for a 'Good Friday'. Once again, Glenn receives a letter from a listener who thinks Glenn should be more mature. Oh well, Glenn apparently didn't listen to this woman, because today's show was perhaps the most immature show in months. Sam Verbeck, Crazy Ray and in-studio guest Serena were a part of today's show. Download today's show in 40 seconds and have a Happy Easter. Oh, thanks to our friend in England for downloading the show. Many others are doing it, you can too!

The lovely Sharon sat in today while Glenn discussed how tired he felt this afternoon. Several stories about Glenn's doctor's visit today as well as a friend's story about his rectal examination that never happened. Why do they continue to sit in a cop car at a construction site was on people's minds today and Crazy Ray thinks Chivo should have been smothered. That and more on today's show, DOWNLOAD TODAY'S SHOW It's less than 14 mgs. in size!

Wednesday's show included more Vegas observations and the latest view points about that cop car sitting in the new COR development lot on Arsenal St. Why is it there? Also, Glenn discussed the importance to the ongoing Federal investigation regarding Steroids in baseball. Crazy Ray called and Mount DANC was once again a topic on today's show. REMEMBER, YOU CAN NOW DOWNLOAD EACH SHOW TO YOU COMPUTER. It's less than 15 mgs too! Do it please!

Back from Vegas and Loughlin. Although Glenn was sluggish from his trip, he managed to touch on some good stories from his trip. Several callers chimed in with their thoughts about the new pilot deal for an outside housing developer. Before you knew it, today's show was over. More Vegas stories and more to come tomorrow on the new Universe Cell & Dish 'Live @ Five' Show.

Well it was the last show of the week prior to Glenn's trip to Laughlin Nevada. Glenn will also be in Vegas this Sunday as well. Good Wednesday show, that included everything from the latest Quickdraw saga in Adams to the original Honeymooners to Robert Blake's acquittal to satellite radio. We'll be back live next Tuesday with a new show sponsor. Tune into the blogger then.

Glenn had a lot to say on today's show, including his sincere feeling that the Live at Five Show is the most rivoting local show of its kind. Not just because it's local, but because it tries to present the stories that are on everyone's mind. Good discussions today including several callers who believe route 342 should be fixed now, not years from now. Also, some talk about the ironies in life and trivia about 'All in the Family' with Extrovert.

Monday, March 14, 2005

Today's show made up for 2 days, of course Glenn talked about the disappointing South Jeff loss, but there was more to the trip Glenn talked about on today's show. Also, why are there more and more violent acts being committed around town and the nation? Have you ever thought you lost your wallet, Glenn thought that on Friday but then realized he had it in his over-sized jacket.

Thursday, March 10, 2005

Event President Dick Gaffney was in the studio today to talk about this weekend's Irish Festival at the SOB building. He discussed the importance of volunteerism for the event that starts tomorrow night. Extravert called just when the big housing announcement was listed on Newzjunky. He also talked about satellite radio. Tom Cat dropped by too to talk about his new Can redemption business. Go Lady Spartans!

Wednesday, March 09, 2005

It was a frigid day in the North Country but things warmed up when Glenn had a former intern in the studio today. The lovely Colleen sat in to discuss college life, her on-going relationship and her new tattoo. Several callers including Crazy Ray and George spiced up the show.

Tuesday, March 08, 2005

Tuesday's show was somewhat slow in a sense but entertaining. Limited callers, but Glenn managed to come up with local and national topics. Good recordiong quality too today!

Monday, March 07, 2005

Glenn had fun talking about the South Jeff. Girls team and their success this season. John Breen's day in court was today and Newzjunky had a sad picture of Breen being sent off to prison, sad day for Breen but he made his own bed. Skip Howe & Paul Szmall came in at the end of the show to talk more about racing. Good way to start off the work week!

Thursday, March 03, 2005

Thursday's show included many discussions with various callers. The angry dude who thinks Danny Francis shouldn't profit from his Vietnam book called again. George and others disagreed entirely. Matt Gorman is looking forward to next year and News 10 Now's report on Newzjunky was good but uncalled for to a degree. Good show, we'll be back live next Monday!

Wednesday, March 02, 2005

Wednesday's show was very interesting, Anthony's friend Lisa came in to discuss the late Mr. Anthony. After an on the air fight with 'Dan the Democrat' Glenn talked more about the guy with Lisa and others called to add their 2 cents. Funny show!

Tuesday, March 01, 2005

Tuesday's show included an eye-witness account of what happened inside the Stewart's convenience store. The girl who called was grateful a bystander prevented her from going too close to the crazed man. Other topics included the transfer of management at the Paddock Arcade to Coon assoicates. Good show, listen while you work to the High Life Live at Five Show.
