Heard daily on Watertown's AM1240, Glenn Curry offers an outside look at the top local and national issues.

Back for a second time again, and Glenn is very anxious about this weekends' showdown between the Yankees and the Red Sox. The show however went back to its usual format. Good callers today, including a guy who spoke about his days at catholic school. Russell Bledsoe did his fantasy football picks and Ezra started things out with some chatter too.

When Glenn used Jeff Grahams' dumpster, he did so as a barter deal. Hard to explain, but Glenn sat in for Jeff during the Hotline after disposing his own home rubbish in to Jeff's dumpster behind his bar. Good 45 minutes of nothing at all, including Glenn having fun with the 5 second delay and an impersonation session with Dave Mance on the phone.

It's an all or nothing show today. Glenn touched on things he's been eager to talk about for a week but could never fit it into the show. One item was: what if the Watertown Daily Times purchased channel 50, wouldn't that make perfect sense? Topics wandered until a female caller brought up a case of mistaken child abuse. Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton are at it again, and this time they're looking for a married man to play with. Good show!

What's the deal with that piece of crap slumb house on Ten Eyke St? It was in the paper once again for various problems. Seems if you're a landlord living miles away from your income, you don't give two shits about the problems there. Duff chimed in about the issue and his own low life problems next door. Oz came by to chat about inofmercials at the end of today's show.

Moonlight, feels right, tonight! Yea, you remember this song from Starbuck in 1976, and today we talked about it. That's right, when Glenn heard the song over the weekend, it brought back memories. But the show took a different swing when Glenn talked about Viggo Mortenson and his interview on Letterman Friday night. Also, Sharon chimed in twice and George contested Glenn's tax logic.

Just when you thought the show was strictly for laughs on a Friday, think again. Seems Glenn was put off right from the start when playing the interview between Bill O'Reily and Phil Donahue. It's good to be on your own side of the political fence, but this 110% shit is a bit much sometimes. O'Reily's tirade on his own show with invited guest Donahue is a good example of this type of follower. Several callers chimed in about the issue, while Glenn tried to figure out why his internet connetion wasn't working.

Just as the show was moving along, movie maker Mike Mustizer stopped by to talk about his new movie 'The Coldest Winter'. Mike reflected on his latest work, while Glenn took calls about other movies and actors including Ben Gazarra. Look forward to the showing of 'The Coldest Winter' at the Lake Onatario Playhouse, October 9th.

Are you clean? Dave Mance is, amongst others. That was one of several running discussions on today's show. Of course, since there's really no juicy news locally, Glenn kind of used today's show as a vehicle for his own unique outlook on life. Nothing special, but entertaining nonetheless.

Tuesday's show was all Glenn and his callers. Not much on the local scene other than the Oswego story. However, today's show went towards an old 'Live at Five' theme, teenagers and their dispositions. Glenn seems to think the 'MTV' generation is short-sighted and can't possibly understand a sexual relationships while having sex at an early age. Others agreed, while Duff seems to think teenagers are no different today than they've ever been. You decide, download now.

Back for the second time and what a great show it was this afternoon. Wow! What more can you say about the Oswego mayor who apparently likes his women from 15 and up. Plus, Glenn reflected about the poor man who was killed this past Friday night in Henderson. The show turns into a history trip at the end when Glenn speaks of the latest Hitler drug stories in the 30s and 40s. Plus, Skip Howe and Jeff Barrett join Glenn with some interesting race notes.

It's a Monday Hotline Show Bonus Show, enjoy listening to a bumbling Glenn on this Noontime disaster, which includes a tinkling Extravert.

For the second time in a day, Glenn was on the air. Well the second time around was a typical 'Live' show, which included several visits from 'Oz' and a show ending call who was calling about a lost dog she found. Good show, especially when Glenn sang on his bullhorn. See you on Monday.

It's time for the Hotline with the 'Live At Five Show' host GlennMan. Jeff called in around noon to ask Glenn to sit in and Glenn did. Todd came in with his description of the knive yielding incident on Factory St. last night. We gave away oldies tickets and Glenn had an indepth conversation with a real life liberal. This conversation about the Pledge of Allegiance went on for around 10 minutes. Good Hotline Show.

Well, look which morning man walked into today's show...Mike White! And, while Mike was here, another Watertown musician chimed in, Mark Chauvette from Vegas! Mark got us up to speed about his many projects, including the local movie called 'Cold Winter' which should be done in October. Good solid show with conversations with Mike, Mark and Oz!

Roxanne, you don't have to put on the red light again at the council meetings, why? Because you didn't make the cut. Which according to Glenn was a surprise, but the people spoke yesterday during the primaries, thus we move on without her in January. This topic was the main concern on today's show as well as Johnny Spezzano's on air insults about Glenn and his show. Apparently Johnny had a bad hair day.

Nothing to talk about? Not much going on? Doesn't matter, there' always something interesting on the 'Live at Five' show, including TV talk about 'Dobie Gillis' and 'The Dick Van Dyke Show'. Like I said, light news day? Don't worry we'll entertain you for 55 straight minutes Monday thru Friday.

Today's show included some reflections about this weekend's TV tributes and documentaries for 9/11. Glenn says you learn something every year about that awful day. Wow, look at the cost of waterfront property on Pillar Point and Point Penninsula. Looks like things are going pretty well in Jefferson County and the real estate market is a good barometer. Also, some zany calls today including Crazy Ray's call.

Bit late again tonight, but worth the wait. Our hurricane story continues, but today's show took a different turn all together when Glenn speaks with Busta's mom, a weekend DJ about his upcoming Penthouse picture. Actually, it's him with the same girls that talked with Glenn this past June. Seems the editors got a pic of the Busta with our two centerfold models! We also touched on e-mail addresses and snoop doggy dog. Funny show!

Even though Glenn calls his show a 'local' show, the ongoing debate regarding New Orleans continues. Great discussions with several callers today including those who feel local officials in Louisiana should have been better prepared. Also, kudos to the Mance Radio stations for generating $18,500 in just one day during their radiothon.

We're back from the long weekend with 70s radio personality and current news radio dude Steve Beam. Steve talked about the successful 'Blues Weekend' in the Bay as well as the state of affairs in New Orleans and the state of the radio industry. Several callers chimed in including Crazy Ray who left an impression with our in-studio guest. Good show, download at will.

We remain divided, at least when it comes to what's happening in New Orleans. Well, not all of us, some of us. You'll hear exactly what I'm talking about when you hear today's show. Of course, our private investigator friend is looking at the Stewarts people for gas gouging. Glenn seems to think the municipal authorities in Louisanna just weren't prepared from the outset.

It is really surreal to see what's happening in New Orleans, an American city that seems to be a far away place. This is what is on the minds of everyone who can't even imagine life so desperate. Many callers chimed in to give their view, as the recovery process continue.
