Can you believe it? Imus is OUT! This predicted news alert happened minutes prior to today's show, so it was hot off the press. Glenn tenderly disected the latest chapter to this story the best he could, or allowed to. Interesting, the Duke case was resolved just yesterday too. Oh, a new caller chimed in about this weekend's 'Home Show'. She asked why should one pay $5 to buy things? She also admitted that she turns off Glenn's show when he starts singing. Good stuff! After a slight snafu with the microphones, things took off with the Imus thing, except Glenn kept it as local as possible. Slow news never stops the 'Live at Five Show'. Thus, Glenn made things up as he went along today. First, Anthony (through a ouigi board) warned Glenn about going through red lights. Then it was a one-sided discussion with Dan about the documentary of the lost Jesus tomb. The 'Duff' still thinks the station should be concerned with the phone system that not working. Glenn read a story of kindness to a military family which in turn reminded Linda Miles of the ASPCA of an act of kindness that Glenn himself once offered. Good show!

We had a chance to follow up with the boxing event that took place this past Saturday at the Fairgrounds. Members of the boxing club including 2 boxers that were involved this weekend came in to give thanks to Glenn and the entire community for their support. From there, it was a wait and see situation with the studio phone that just isn't cooperating these days. It should be working tomorrow, but for the second half of the show, it was the Curry Leven program again.

Several coaches and organizers from the Watertown Boxing Club stopped in to talk about tomorrow's big event at the fairgrounds. Glenn spoke about the club's impact on the community, plus we had the youngest boxer in town, along with his dad. Good show about the sport Watertown once held close to it's heart. Perhaps, those days are coming back.

Can you believe it?! It's been 2 years since the late great Anthony DiMarcantonio passed away. Thus, Glenn invited his 17 year-old daughter to call in today, which she did. Again, a compelling conversation from a young girl whose father died too young. Then, later it was a double header with Angeline, Anthony's youngest daughter. This whole 'Zoo to Doo' issue is burning up our 'so-called host'. It's also a hot issue with many callers today. Although this was the main part of today's show, Glenn also had fun with the 58 year old man who was caught having sex with his dead wife. Getting back to the Zoo issue, Roxanne Burns, a close friend of former Zoo Director Angela Bairer came in to defend Angela and the Zoo Board of Directors. All in all a very good local show.

Look how many people inside the AM1240 studio today, 4 plus Glenn. First, it was Danny Francis to talk with Glenn about his 44 years on service for the Army and the US Government. Danny is happy to retire and enter the local political ring without distractions. Then things got too crowded today. Jim Leven came by with his usual 'slant' on things, then we had the opportunity to speak with German Velonne, the owner of 'Velocity'. German is also an actor who has appeared in many TV commercials and several movies.

Glenn received some 'Happy B'Day' calls this afternoon, as well as some really kooky conversations with a girl who is mad at a local pet shop. 'Dan the Dem' seems to have problems with Samaritan and Glenn's sister had some interesting observations at a teenie concert recently.

Glenn spent some time relating his viewpoint to the latest Miss USA winner who obviously has a drinking problem. Some chatter regarding the Iraq/Iran issue with Crazy Ray and Russell Bledsoe called from Atlanta and related the latest traffic problems down there. Want to have a 'happy' funeral? Try having food and entertainment ready for the berieved. Jim Leven dropped in and refused to let Glenn in on the 95X morning show firing of 'Beaner & Ken'. Just goes to show, if you suck, you're out on your ass! Good bye jerkoffs!

Glenn was back inside the studio today, yesterday's Paddock Arcade remote went very well, with plenty of on the spot interviews with merchants and customers. Today, it was a bit of everything. First, a conversation with Samantha, then 5 picks with CK Cescereo, and one heck of a history lesson with 'The Concerned Citizen. Two girls and a host today! Pewter Mug owner Jen Hartz came in with bar manager Mora Dawley to discuss the new and improved mug and various 'bar' stories. Bruce Mittman is in town for tomorrows' Christmas Party, so he and Jim Leven came by to talk too. With the tragic discovery of the missing Lewis Co. girls' body this morning, today's show had plenty of callers. Plus, it was also 'Pearl Harbor' day. Both topics took up most of today's show, including one call from 'Dan the Democrat' who still thinks the attack on Pearl Harbor was 'no big deal'. This incited many callers who had their own opinion of Dan. Good show!

Despite the fact that some as@#holes were calling in and not saying anything at the beginning of today's show, it was entertaining none-the-less. Glenn is still bewildered with the missing Lewis Co. girl, but some indicate she is alive and well in the Albany area. Glenn once again boasted about the new E Shows that show more than the Spice Network. Dan the demo doesn't like the Mark Levin story and Glenn gave the thumbs up on YouTube again.

Glenn did something last night he was very proud of, he found a loose puppy in his neighborhood and brounght him in from the cold. The dog was someone else's however, and Glenn and Sharon made sure to find the rightful owners. Happy ending, they did! Oh, check out 'The Girls Next Door' on E, Glenn says it pushes the limits when it comes to nudity on mainstream cable. Wow, still no word on the missing 26 year-old woman in Lewis County, Glenn seems to think the State Police are getting involved, yet a story like this gets very little attention in this area, why?

Hey now, we have ourselves another scandal in Watertown! This time it's 'Otter Gate'. Our departing Zoo director apparently danced around the issus of overflowed water in a hotel bathroom. It's a 'back to normal' show today in the AM1240 studio, as Glenn spoke with some old callers and one new caller. First, Glenn had to state how much he likes countdown shows, like the most shocking moments in Rock history on VH1. He also acknowledged a fantastic documentary about the Burma railroads during WWII. Crazy Ray had plenty to say, plus Glenn had some thoughts about sleeping at the wheel. This is when a new caller chimed in about her sleepy wheel experiences back in 1948. Programming note for tomorrow, the girls from the new Pewter Mug will be in to spice things up on a Friday afternoon. Don't miss tomorrow's show, and have fun listening to today's show.

The owner of the Montessori School, accompanied by proud parents came in to discuss the school's many benefits and features. He did however have a lot to say about his new favorite TV show "I Shouldn't Be Alive", which was on all day Thanksgiving Thursday.
